Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union develops nearly 2,000 union members
Ho Chi Minh City - In the first months of the year, Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union has developed nearly 2,000 union members.
On July 25, the Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Ward (HCMC) said that the unit is promoting the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions in the area, in which focusing on developing union members in enterprises with 20 or more employees.
According to the Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Ward, this is an important foundation to improve the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

Since the beginning of the year, the Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Ward has developed and admitted nearly 2,000 union members. Notably, the Ward Trade Union has developed and launched the Lottery Ticket Union with 17 union members. This is an initial effectiveness to gather and care for freelance lottery ticket sellers in the area.
Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union is also completing procedures to organize a launching ceremony and award decisions to establish 7 grassroots trade unions on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the construction and development of the Vietnam Trade Union.
