Hai Phong Urban Environment Company launches socialist Trade Union model

The Trade Union of Hai Phong Urban Environment One Member Limited Liability Company currently has 1,445 union members, operating in 19 departmental trade unions and 104 trade union groups. In recent years, the trade union has always coordinated with businesses to well implement grassroots democracy regulations, organize employee conferences, periodic dialogues; maintain collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to employees, ensure jobs, income, and fully implement regimes on salaries, insurance and allowances.

The work of caring for the lives of union members is focused on with many practical activities. The meal allowance has been increased from 20,000 VND to 30,000 VND/person/shift; annually organizing gifts for union members with an average value of about 1.5 million VND/gift; supporting union members with dangerous diseases, accidents, and difficult circumstances, building "Trade Union Shelter" houses and subsidizing families of workers in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the Trade Union regularly organizes cultural and sports activities such as football, badminton, pickleball, modern dance classes, MC classes; coordinates to organize visits, learn experiences, and care for female workers and workers' children. The emulation movements "Good labor, creative labor", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Good parking - safe driving" are widely deployed, attracting a large number of union members to participate.

Through self-review according to the model criteria "Socialist grassroots trade union", the Company's Trade Union achieved 90/100 points, meeting the conditions for building the model. In which, the group of caring for and protecting union members' rights achieved 32/35 points; the group of improving cultural and spiritual life achieved 17/20 points; the group of organizing emulation movements achieved 18/20 points; the group of building strong trade union organizations achieved 23/25 points.

In the period 2026-2030, the Company's Trade Union determines to focus on improving the quality of dialogue and collective negotiation; continue to care for life, improve the quality of meals and working conditions; promote cultural and sports activities, skills training; promote emulation movements and build strong trade union organizations.

Immediately after the model launching ceremony, the company's Trade Union organized a trade union meal at the company's collective kitchen (Trang Cat Waste Treatment Complex); propagating black credit prevention and control to a large number of union members and workers.
