Establishment of JIA YUEXING Shoe Company trade union with 161 union members
Vinh Long - Establishing a trade union at JIA YUEXING Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. contributes to caring for rights and building harmonious and stable labor relations.
On July 30, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of JIA YUEXING Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. with 161 trade union members.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation appointed the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 members, and the Inspection Committee consisting of 3 members. Mr. Ta Gia Phuoc holds the position of Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Chi Hien holds the position of Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
According to the decision, the Executive Committee is responsible for assigning tasks, developing operating plans and preparing sufficient conditions to organize trade union congresses according to regulations within a period of no more than 12 months.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Ta Gia Phuoc - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of JIA YUEXING Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. - committed to the Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity, representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
He also affirmed that he will closely coordinate with employers to build harmonious and stable labor relations, contributing to improving the lives of workers and promoting sustainable business development.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Standing Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - congratulated the grassroots trade union of JIA YUEXING Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. on being officially established and put into operation.
She requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, promote the role of representative, care for union members, actively develop union members, build harmonious labor relations, and accompany businesses for sustainable development.
Currently, the Provincial Labor Federation is managing: 07 Commune and Ward Trade Unions; 656 grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions with 178,101 union members/185,564 workers.
