Establishment of a grassroots trade union of a garment company with 65 union members in Vinh Long

On June 29, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a Conference to establish the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Chunchusa Garment Co., Ltd. (Long Ho commune, Vinh Long province).

Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Nhat Linh - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Duyen - Representative of the Company's Board of Directors and all employees.

At the conference, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation announced decisions recognizing 65 trade union members, decisions establishing grassroots trade unions and appointing personnel for the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee. In which, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Hoang was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union.

Speaking to receive the assignment, the new Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union Ho Thi Kim Hoang committed to striving with the Executive Committee to effectively implement emulation movements, closely coordinate with business leaders to effectively implement the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Tran Nhat Linh congratulated the grassroots trade union of the company on officially going into operation. Mr. Linh requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to quickly stabilize the organization, build regulations to coordinate with the Board of Directors to practically care for employees, contributing to building a sustainable business development.
