Lao Cai receives 200 computers, 1,000 social security gifts

Attending the program were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai province.

Also attending were the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province.

At the program, representatives of the Capital Metal Exploitation and Processing Joint Stock Company donated 200 computers to support digital transformation in communes and wards in the province.

Along with that, Agribank Lao Cai Branch has awarded 1,000 social security gifts to people with meritorious services, poor households and workers in the province, contributing to sharing, encouraging and supporting people to stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh respectfully thanked the concern and companionship of businesses and sponsors towards the locality.

At the same time, he affirmed that Lao Cai province will effectively use support sources, contributing to promoting digital transformation at the grassroots level, and at the same time better care for people's lives, especially poor households and vulnerable groups.

The program to donate computers and social security gifts is a deeply humane activity, not only contributing to strengthening technology resources to serve digital transformation, but also spreading the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of organizations and businesses towards the community.
