Ho Chi Minh City delegates expect the Vietnam Fatherland Front to continue to strongly innovate its activities in a modern direction, promote digital transformation, and promote the effectiveness of the Digital Front.

Placing high expectations on the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), term 2026-2031, Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, delegate of Ho Chi Minh City - said that the VFF needs to increase the depth of social impact and the ability to gather the strength of all classes of people in the context of strong economic, social and technological transformation.

According to Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, the Front needs to continue to improve the quality of supervision and social criticism in a substantive, scientific direction and associated with issues of public concern. In the context of the emergence of many new issues related to digital transformation, environment, education, social security and sustainable development, social criticism needs to truly become an important policy consultation channel.

To do that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to mobilize more strongly the team of experts, intellectuals, scientists and professional associations. At the same time, expand channels to receive people's opinions, especially on digital platforms, to improve the quality of forecasting and the effectiveness of policy criticism. Digital platforms are also a channel to spread and mobilize people's strength globally.

Ms. Phuong Lan expressed her appreciation for the idea of the Digital Front being implemented in a modern, transparent and integrated direction. However, for people to participate effectively in the Digital Front, it is important to shift from one-way information thinking to building a digital society participation ecosystem with people at the center.

Meanwhile, lawyer Nguyen Van Hau - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Arbitration Association, delegate of Ho Chi Minh City - said that this is the time when the Vietnam Fatherland Front has many innovation signals, especially in building the Digital Front, applying digital transformation to operations to be closer to the people, closer to the people and strongly oriented towards the grassroots level.

Lawyer Hau is also particularly interested in innovating the work of supervision and social criticism; participating in building policies from the beginning to protect the legitimate rights and interests of people, agencies, organizations and individuals.

The Front needs to continue to promote its role under the leadership of the Party, becoming a more effective bridge between the people and the Party and the State; contributing to building a rule-of-law state, a fair, civilized and modern society.
