Vinh Long Fatherland Front allocates more than 1 billion VND to build traffic bridges and support the poor
Vinh Long - Provincial Fatherland Front allocates funds for the Poor to build bridges, scholarships, support poor households, and coordinate to organize social security implementation.
According to a report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from October 4 - 5, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended a meeting of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, deploying resolutions and directives of the Central Government, preparing for the Buddhist Congress for the 2026-2031 term.
The Office and professional departments of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee advised on the list of 31 delegates to attend the 11th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, and also participated in the Delegation of the Standing Committee of the People's Council to survey the landslide situation in Giao Long and Quoi Thien communes and the inspection team of the Department of Home Affairs on administrative reform in 2026.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated the Fund for the Poor to support the construction of bridges in Phu Tan ward worth 49,996,770,000 VND and Thanh Thoi commune bridge worth 500,000,000 VND.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Trade Union Working Committee coordinated with the Youth Union to organize voluntary blood donation with 154 union members from 30 grassroots trade unions, opening sports with 641 athletes from 36 units.
The Farmers' Association coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front to organize training, disburse 800 million VND of the Farmers Support Fund for 14 borrowing households, issue membership cards to 20 farmers and strengthen social media propaganda.
The Provincial Women and Veterans Affairs Committee of the Fatherland Front coordinated with local authorities to hand over a traffic bridge worth 354,500,000 VND, presented 100 gifts, visited 5 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and mobilized social security.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Youth Union Working Committee coordinated with the Youth and Children's Center to propagate history and foreign languages, organize the 85th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Youth Team, and published 39,882 stories.
The Farmers' Support Center coordinates with the Farmers' Association to deploy scientific and technical training in many communes, inspect grassroots activities, support production, and maintain rural year club activities.
