Vinh Long Trade Union promotes sports and voluntary blood donation among workers
Vinh Long - Vinh Long Trade Union promotes physical education and sports, voluntary blood donation, spreading emulation movements and community awareness among workers.
According to a report from Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from September 4th to May 5th, Vinh Long provincial trade union activities took place sôi nổi, in which the opening of the Sports Festival for workers, civil servants and laborers was identified as the focus.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation organized the opening and qualifying round of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Festival, 2026, Vinh Long region.
The tournament attracted 641 athletes from 36 grassroots trade unions to compete in many events, creating a lively emulation atmosphere among union members and workers throughout the province.
At the same time, the Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Labor Federation participated in many important activities such as budget appraisal meetings, seminars on occupational safety and health, and business inspections.
During the week, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Red Cross Society to organize voluntary blood donation at Vinh Long University of Technology and Education, with 154 union members participating from 30 grassroots trade unions.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation is implementing plans such as skillful mass mobilization, preliminary review of the action program of the General Confederation and preparation for meetings with party members and workers in non-state enterprises.
