23 trade union members voluntarily donate blood
Ho Chi Minh City - Mobilized by Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union, 23 union members voluntarily participated in the voluntary blood donation program.
On April 28, Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union (HCMC) said that many union members of grassroots trade unions in the area participated in the voluntary blood donation program.
Previously, the Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union had deployed a notice, mobilizing union members and workers to participate in blood donation. With the message "Each drop of blood given - A life left behind", 23 union members voluntarily participated.
Along with the response of union members and workers in Nghia Thanh commune, many people in the area have supported the program and volunteered to donate blood to save people. Through this, a total of 104 units of blood have been collected.
According to Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union, voluntary blood donation activities are not only an emulation, but also a cultural beauty of the locality. Actively responding to the movement of union members and workers not only shows a sense of responsibility to the community but also affirms the bridging role of the Trade Union organization in implementing socio-political tasks at the grassroots level.
