Grassroots trade unions donate clean water projects to schools in difficult circumstances
Lam Dong - Two purified water filtration systems worth nearly 50 million VND have just been jointly awarded by trade union levels to Hung Vuong Secondary School.
On April 19, the Trade Union of Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union of Saigon - Dan Kia Water Joint Stock Company to organize the handover of a clean water system to Hung Vuong Secondary School.

The purified water system includes 2 works with water tanks, filters and a water supply system. Total value of nearly 50 million VND sponsored by Saigon - Dan Kia Water Joint Stock Company.
According to Mr. Phan Hai Thinh - Vice Principal of Hung Vuong Secondary School, the school currently has 27 classes with 1,235 students. Of which, about 60% are ethnic minority students.
The two projects contribute to providing clean water for daily activities for teachers and students.

Mr. Le Quang Hoa - Deputy Director, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Saigon - Dan Kia Water Joint Stock Company said that from 2023 to now, the unit has coordinated to donate nearly 20 clean water projects to schools and medical facilities in the area, with a total value of more than 400 million VND.
In the coming time, the Trade Union of Saigon - Dan Kia Water Joint Stock Company will continue to coordinate with local authorities to survey and support schools that are still facing difficulties with clean water in Lang Biang - Da Lat ward," Mr. Hoa said.
