Railway workers in Khanh Hoa share a drop of red blood

On the morning of April 2nd, Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company coordinated with railway units in Nha Trang area and the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Khanh Hoa province to organize a blood donation day.

With the message "One drop of blood given - thousands of love left behind", the program attracted about 200 officials, union members, and workers to participate.

Not only the union members in the company, but also regional railway units actively mobilize workers to respond, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.

Notably, the unit has arranged vehicles to transport workers from areas along the railway line, from Dai Lanh to Cam Ranh, creating favorable conditions for a large number of union members to participate in blood donation.

The entire amount of blood received is screened and strictly checked according to the correct procedures, ensuring safety before being put into emergency and treatment for patients.

According to Ms. Dang Thanh Hang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company, voluntary blood donation activities are maintained annually by the trade union and the company, organized at least once a year with the participation of 150-200 people.

This is not only an activity for the community but also contributes to building corporate culture, promoting the spirit of mutual affection in the railway industry's workforce.

As one of the people who has participated in blood donation many times, Mr. To Duy Dong (Nha Trang railway team) shared that each drop of blood given is a part of the hope of survival given to patients. " Railway workers are always ready to share for the community," he said.
