Giving 200 gifts to support people affected by storms in Lao Cai
Lao Cai - 200 gifts have been given to households in Thuong Bang La commune who were damaged by the storm, people soon stabilized their lives.
Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union has just coordinated with Son Thinh Market Grassroots Trade Union and philanthropists, benefactors and Gia Lam Pagoda (Hanoi) to organize the presentation of 200 gifts to support households affected by the storm that occurred on March 22 in Thuong Bang La commune.
The thunderstorms in recent days have caused damage to houses and property, disrupting the lives of many families in the area.
Faced with the difficulties of people in affected areas, organizations and individuals promptly joined hands to mobilize resources to support and share damage.
At the program, 200 gifts were directly presented to affected households.
Each meal is worth 1 million VND, including cash and essential necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt, cooking oil... Thereby contributing to helping families soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.
Support activities show the spirit of mutual affection, "the healthy leaf protects the torn leaf", and at the same time promote the connecting role of trade union organizations in mobilizing social resources to care for the lives of union members, workers and people.
Representatives of local authorities and households expressed their gratitude to units and philanthropists who promptly cared for and supported, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.
