Voluntary blood donation at Ty Bach Co., Ltd. collects more than 200 units of blood
Vinh Long - The voluntary blood donation program at Ty Bach Co., Ltd. collected 202 units of blood, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment.
On March 26, the Trade Union of Ty Bach Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh Industrial Park, Vinh Long province) coordinated with the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society and Can Tho City Hematology - Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize a voluntary blood donation program.
The program attracted a large number of union members and employees in the company to participate with a spirit of voluntariness and sharing for the community. Through one session of organization, the organizing committee received 202 units of blood, ensuring quality and safety to serve emergency and treatment for patients.
Ms. Lam Thi Ngoc Ha - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Ty Bach Co., Ltd. - said that voluntary blood donation activities are maintained regularly, contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion among workers. This is also an opportunity to raise workers' awareness of the meaning of blood donation to save lives.
The blood source received from voluntary blood donation programs plays an important role in supplementing blood reserves, meeting emergency and treatment needs at medical facilities, especially during times of blood shortage," Ms. Ha added.
