Accompanying workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026 at the Aviation Trade Union

The Aviation Trade Union assessed that 2026 is an important year, the first year to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, term 2025-2030 and Resolution of the 7th Congress of the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation.

Mr. Dao Manh Kien - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation said that in order to spread the spirit of caring for employees throughout the Corporation, right from the beginning of April, the Corporation's Trade Union has developed and issued Plan No. 296/CĐTCTHK-QHLĐ guiding affiliated trade unions to organize Workers' Month activities in 2026.

The purpose of issuing Plan 296 is to mobilize all resources of the trade union and employers to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

In 2 days, May 7-8, 2026, the Corporation's Trade Union organized a program to provide financial support to workers working directly in harsh hot weather conditions at aircraft parking lots, hangar areas and warehouses in 2026 with a total amount of 600 million VND from trade union funds in 3 areas: Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat.

Through the program, showing the concern of the trade union organization in caring for and encouraging workers' health, with financial support for buying drinks and refreshments in the hot season, the Corporation's Trade Union hopes that all union members and workers will work together to strive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Corporation's Trade Union also coordinated to deduct from the charity fund to subsidize difficulties for union members and workers suffering from serious illnesses and in difficult circumstances.

The delegation of the General Corporation Trade Union led by Mr. Dao Manh Kien visited and inquired about health, grasped the situation, life and encouraged workers to overcome difficulties, maintain optimistic spirit, and overcome illness.

Leaders of the Corporation's Trade Union requested Trade Unions at all levels to continue to coordinate with the government to issue the best policies to care for and support workers who unfortunately suffer from serious illnesses and labor difficulties.

On this occasion, the Corporation's Trade Union presented financial support to Mr. Kim Trong Binh - a union member suffering from a serious illness working at Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd. (VIAGS) and Ms. Nguyen Ha My - a union member suffering from a serious illness working at Aviation Services Company (VASCO) for 30 million VND each.

From the beginning of May - Workers' Month 2026, affiliated trade unions have organized many meaningful activities such as: organizing "Summer cooling water counter" in the parking area, "Trade union water counter" in the trade union corner of affiliated trade unions,...

The directly affiliated trade union also coordinates with the government to dialogue and collectively negotiate; improve the quality of lunch meals; supplement meals for overtime workers, workers in heavy and hazardous environments; Coordinate to organize periodic health checks and occupational diseases for union members and workers.

Organize health counseling, psychological counseling, reproductive health care for workers; Organize Family Day, cultural festivals with cultural, artistic, entertainment, recreational activities, propaganda on family care skills, raising children, collective cultural activities, innovation, and dedication of union members and workers;

Organize cultural and sports activities for union members and workers; encourage agencies and units to choose organizational forms suitable to actual conditions...
