An Giang starts construction of 2 Great Solidarity houses in the Army-Civilian Tet program
An Giang - Each Great Solidarity house is supported with 60 million VND, contributing to helping families have conditions to build solid houses and stabilize their lives.
On November 5th, in Thanh Loc commune, the Steering Committee for "Military-Civilian Tet" activities of An Giang province coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 2 Great Solidarity houses to be presented to households in difficult housing circumstances.
In the series of activities in response to the "Military-Civilian Tet" program in 2027, the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association and An Giang Lottery Company Limited Co-operated to support funding for the construction of 12 Great Solidarity houses. This time, 2 houses were started to be built for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Thua. Each house was supported with 60 million VND, contributing to helping families have conditions to build solid houses, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working and production.
Through activities to support building Great Solidarity houses, not only helping households in difficult circumstances gradually stabilize their lives but also showing the spirit of responsibility and joint efforts of agencies, units, and businesses in caring for people's lives. Thereby contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies, mass mobilization work and the emulation movement "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind".
Great Solidarity shelters continue to spread the spirit of mutual affection, strengthen military-civilian solidarity, contribute to building a solid people's heart battleground, creating motivation for people to rise up to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.
