Spreading a cultural lifestyle from each worker and civil servant family
Family is the cell of society. In its activities, the Vietnam Trade Union organization always focuses on taking care of building happy families for workers, civil servants and laborers, contributing to spreading good values, especially traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families in the new period.
In June 2026, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour organized the commendation of 95 typical CNVCLĐ families nationwide in the period 2021 - 2026 to honor the solid cells of society. These are families representing will, determination and love from all over the country. The most common highlight of the 95 families is promoting the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families.
Reality shows that in the current period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and deep international integration, the role of the family becomes even more important. Building a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family is not only a goal but also a core driving force for sustainable national development. CNVCLĐ families are not only places to regenerate labor, places to share hardships and difficulties after working hours, but also incubators for future generations of citizens with morality, bravery, intelligence and aspirations to contribute.
The 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union has identified the goal of building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class, mastering science and technology, adapting to digital transformation and international integration. To build a modern working class, first of all, it is necessary to focus on building happy, progressive and sustainable working-class families.
Discussing this issue, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong said that to achieve that goal, trade union levels need to continue to pay more attention to family work; continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's policies on family work, gender equality and comprehensive development of Vietnamese people; promote activities to care for and support union members and workers; build an equal, progressive, and safe working environment; create conditions for workers to balance work and family life.
At the same time, each family of workers and civil servants needs to continue to promote the good traditions of Vietnamese families; build a cultural lifestyle, humane behavior; nurture the spirit of studiousness, creative labor; build a family that is truly a loving home, a solid spiritual support for each member.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also expressed her belief that the good values of worker and employee families will continue to be widely spread in the community; continue to build Vietnamese families "Warm - Progressive - Happy, being the healthy nucleus and cell of society, the warm home of each person; being a place to nurture and cultivate personality, a lifestyle that respects the good traditional morality of the nation; promoting and replicating good values to contribute to promoting the sustainable development of the country".
