Lao Cai Trade Union presents Mid-Autumn gifts to 46 orphaned children who are union members' children
Lao Cai - The Provincial Labor Federation has just organized visits and gifts for 46 orphaned children who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Implementing the policy of caring for the Mid-Autumn Festival for children, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation organized visits, encouragement and gifts for orphaned children who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
Among these are children who lost their father or mother, even lost both father and mother due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi; some cases have fathers or mothers who died in labor accidents.
The working delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Hong Thoan - Vice Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation visited each family to inquire, share the losses, and encourage the children to continue to strive to study, train and overcome circumstances.
Each child was given a Mid-Autumn gift worth 300,000 VND. The total budget of 13.8 million VND was deducted from the "Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Charity Fund".
The material value of each gift is not large, but on a special occasion like the Mid-Autumn Festival, the presence and encouragement of the trade union organization has spiritual significance for children and families.
That is sharing the losses that children have to go through when they are young, and at the same time adding motivation for them to be more confident in their studies and life.
