Lao Cai Trade Union increases dialogue, listens to workers' thoughts

Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has just issued a plan to organize Workers' Month with a series of activities to strengthen contact and dialogue between union members and workers with Party committees, authorities and employers.

The highlight is the "May Dialogue" program to affirm the representative role, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers and trade union organizations; and at the same time create a direct connection channel to listen, receive and promptly resolve problems arising from the grassroots level.

It is expected that on May 7-8, the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation will organize meetings and dialogues with 500 union members and workers belonging to the Lao Cai Ward Trade Union and the Industrial Park Trade Union Board.

At the dialogues, many practical contents related to the lives and jobs of workers will be publicly exchanged such as salaries, jobs, working conditions, social insurance and related regimes and policies.

Through this, the recommendations and proposals of employees are directly received, thereby discussing solutions to remove and limit the occurrence of labor disputes, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
