Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union launches Workers' Month 2026
Nghe An - On the morning of April 18, the Trade Union of Truong Vinh Ward organized the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of the People's Committee, agencies, departments, branches, and unions of Truong Vinh ward; chairmen of grassroots trade unions.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Trinh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward emphasized that this is a deeply meaningful event, aimed at further affirming the position, role, and mission of the Vietnamese working class in the new era; and at the same time enhancing the responsibility of the entire political system, the business community and the whole society in caring for and building an increasingly modern and strong working class.
Through the activities of Workers' Month, continue to consolidate trust, strengthen the attachment of union members and workers to the Party, State and Trade Union organization; arouse the spirit of innovation, will to rise up, promote the pioneering role of workers in labor production, contributing to improving productivity, quality, and work efficiency, and making positive contributions to the implementation of socio-economic development goals of the locality.
In addition, the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health aims to raise awareness and responsibility of employers and employees in ensuring a safe working environment; proactively preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases; towards building a safe, civilized, and sustainable working environment.
The theme of Workers' Month and Action Month on OSH 2026 is "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity" and "Innovating management, improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age".
At the launching ceremony, the Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward launched 2 newly established grassroots trade unions; presented 80 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 40 million VND; signed a union member welfare program with Medlatec Vietnam and organized free health check-ups for 500 union members and workers.
