Towards Workers' Month, strengthening care for union members in Nghia Lo
Lao Cai - From caring for Tet to supporting people after natural disasters, Nghia Lo Trade Union is affirming its role in accompanying workers.
Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union currently manages 2,694 union members, operating in 58 grassroots trade unions. Since the beginning of the year, the lives of workers have basically stabilized, and salary and insurance regimes have been ensured.
Activities to care for union members are implemented practically. During Tet, the trade union organized 9 "Tet Sum vay" programs, supporting more than 3,200 union members with a budget of over 1 billion VND; grassroots trade unions presented 2,760 gifts.
In addition, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union also actively participates in social activities, supporting people affected by storms with money, necessities and production materials.
At a recent working session, the delegation of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation praised the efforts of Nghia Lo Trade Union. At the same time, it was proposed to continue to promote the representative role, strengthen dialogue, care for and protect the rights of workers, especially during Workers' Month 2026.
On this occasion, the working delegation visited and worked at a number of businesses in the area, grasped the situation of production, employment, and income of workers and presented gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances.
