Today, professional competence is also professional knowledge, being trained, accumulating experience through practical labor, being proactively nurtured according to professional life and social progress is the basis for workers to have sufficient authority to decide on their employment and income.

The right to mastery of workers has a broader scope, both having professional capacity and having democratic rights prescribed by law, which are directly implemented by workers or authorized by organizations representing workers. This is the achievement of the social revolution led by the pioneering team of the working class, and also a progressive trend of society. Each worker needs to have proper awareness and well implement the right to mastery to escape the self-consciousness of "weak" people, and firmly affirm a new mindset. The strength of union members is the result of the force of union members who are organized tightly, voluntarily, acting according to the law for legitimate and lawful rights and interests.

The value of union members in the new era lies in raising awareness, self-awareness and organized action under the leadership of the trade union, for the benefit of union members and sustainable social development.

Each union member needs to promote responsibility, become a "messenger" of the trade union; proactively participate in developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, expanding coverage and improving operational efficiency.

Therefore, it is necessary to widely disseminate knowledge about the Vietnam Trade Union - a genuine representative organization, a reliable support for workers, operating under the law. When the trade union operates in an advanced manner, union members are the direct force creating efficiency, and each union member will become the most convincing "messenger" in mobilizing workers.

Building the core force

Improving the capacity to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members is an urgent requirement, both timely and expanding the space for trade union activities. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate benefits clearly, easily understood, and updated regularly; and at the same time have tools to monitor and reflect so that union members can clearly feel the concern and effectiveness of trade union activities.

Actively build a core force of union members in trade union activities. In the current period, it is necessary to urgently create a strong transformation from trade union activities mainly carried out by trade union officials to trade union activities mainly carried out by union members and organized and led by grassroots trade union officials.

Because trade union activities are specific, union members need to be trained and foster professional skills, update experiences regularly, form a force of union members to negotiate collectively, engage in collective dialogue, and understand the living standards of workers...

In particular, building the core force of action of trade unions according to the law when necessary such as: Collecting and submitting pressing petitions from union members; organizing collective work stoppages; solidarity when in difficulty...

Trade union members are the beneficiaries of trade union activities, so they need to have the right to evaluate the results of grassroots trade union activities as well as the results of trade union officials at the grassroots level.

Therefore, develop diverse forms of reporting to union members on the periodic operating results of grassroots trade unions, of each trade union official and present what needs to be done in the coming time for union members to supervise, as a basis for evaluation. The most important thing is to conduct annual periodic satisfaction measurement of union members with grassroots trade unions and trade union officials. Combining the rate of workers participating in trade union organizations and identifying the most accurate objects to evaluate operating results is a basic solution to constantly improve grassroots trade unions.

Union members are of great importance to the sustainable development of the Trade Union organization, so it is necessary to conduct annual periodic evaluations of union members. The evaluation content is mainly the results of trade union activities of union members and is carried out by the grassroots trade union, but does not become a criterion for ranking grassroots trade unions. Excellent union members in trade union activities are also commended and rewarded by trade union levels, becoming the driving force of the Trade Union organization.

The political nature of the Trade Union organization is not only in the goals and tasks; in the contingent of officials but also in the actions of the majority of union members. Once a great union member can show the central position of development, it will fully demonstrate the strength of the Trade Union organization. This needs to be the goal of the Trade Union organization in the new stage with high concentration and new impetus to create the necessary difference.
