Nearly 5,000 workers in Lang Son were cared for in the first quarter

In the first quarter, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation directed grassroots trade unions to closely follow functions and tasks, concretize resolutions of the Party and trade union organizations and promptly deploy them to union members and workers.

Trade union levels in the province continue to promote many practical activities towards union members and workers.

In particular, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated to care for nearly 5,000 turns of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 3.72 billion VND.

Along with that, the trade union organization visited and presented gifts to 22 units and businesses with a total value of 44 million VND.

In the first quarter, the Provincial Labor Federation also organized and coordinated the inauguration of 3 projects to light up village roads and light up border patrol roads.

The Provincial Labor Federation Social Fund supported the construction of 3 new "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members, with a total amount of 120 million VND.

The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations continues to be concerned. The whole province has newly established 1 grassroots trade union, 1 grassroots professional union, and admitted 365 new union members.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the achieved results, and pointed out the difficulties and obstacles in trade union activities in the first quarter.

In the second quarter of 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation identified a number of key tasks such as continuing to promote propaganda and study of directives and resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State.

At the same time, strengthen mobilization to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions in non-state-owned enterprises; develop a project to establish ward and commune trade unions; organize activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026 and Action Month on occupational safety and health.
