Da Nang Trade Union supports 1,000 union members in difficult circumstances during Workers' Month 2026

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 11th said: The City Labor Federation has just issued a plan to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, with a total of 1,000 gifts, each worth 1 million VND.

According to the plan, the activity aims to practically care for the lives of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, thereby creating motivation to work, consolidating trust and attachment to the Trade Union organization.

Beneficiaries are union members and workers working at agencies, units, and enterprises with grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation, who are in difficult circumstances, have low incomes; have labor accidents, occupational diseases; suffer from serious illnesses; have reduced working hours, unstable income; pregnant female workers, young children are facing difficulties, or trade union officials are affected by the arrangement of the organizational structure.

Gift distribution will be implemented in many forms. In which, it is expected that 20 gifts will be symbolically presented at the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026 (April 24), and 20 other gifts at the opening program of the Mobile Workers' Fair associated with the art program "Da Nang Colors" (May 23).

In addition, the City Labor Federation will organize delegations to visit and directly give gifts to particularly difficult cases such as being injured in labor accidents, occupational diseases or suffering from serious illnesses. Grassroots trade unions authorized to proactively choose appropriate forms of awarding, ensuring gifts reach workers' hands during Workers' Month 2026.

In addition to this support source, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also encourages trade union levels to mobilize more socialized resources to expand the scale of care, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in the area.
