Innovating operating methods, Quang Tri Trade Union focuses on workers
Quang Tri - The Provincial Trade Union innovates operations, improves the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers in the new situation.
On April 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just organized a quarterly trade union meeting for the first quarter of 2026 for grassroots trade unions and professional unions in Gio Linh, Ben Hai, Con Tien, Cua Viet and Quan Ngang Industrial Park.
At the conference, delegates focused on evaluating the outstanding results in the first quarter. The work of caring for union members and workers continued to be effectively implemented. The organization of Workers' Conferences and the signing of Collective Labor Agreements were emphasized. The employment and living conditions of workers were basically stable, and trade union activities at the grassroots level had many positive changes.
Besides the achieved results, the conference also frankly pointed out some difficulties and shortcomings in trade union activities. Delegates proposed many solutions to innovate activities to improve quality and efficiency in the coming time, especially in grasping the situation of labor relations and protecting workers' rights.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Phan Thanh Lan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized a number of key tasks. In which, trade union levels need to strengthen grasping the situation of labor relations; improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities; promote the organization of Employee Conferences, sign Collective Labor Agreements; focus on developing union members; and prepare well for Workers' Month activities in 2026.
The conference is an opportunity for trade union levels to exchange experiences, remove difficulties, and contribute to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
