Phu Tho - The "digital literacy" movement is being implemented by Lap Thach Commune Trade Union to 100% of union members, contributing to improving digital skills.
Over the past time, Lap Thach Commune Trade Union (Phu Tho) has actively implemented many activities to improve the quality of trade union activities and care for the lives of workers.
The unit has just organized a conference to summarize the work in the first quarter, and at the same time deploy the tasks for the second quarter; launched a plan to organize Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
In the first quarter of 2026, 100% of grassroots trade unions organized periodic meetings in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. The regulations on democracy at agencies, units, and businesses are strictly implemented.
Notably, 10 grassroots trade unions signed collective labor agreements, contributing to improving working conditions for workers.
The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations continues to be promoted. In the first quarter, units introduced 7 outstanding union members to participate in fostering awareness of the Party, and at the same time admitted 160 new union members at businesses in the area.
In particular, in order to improve digital capacity for union members, Lap Thach Commune Trade Union has strengthened propaganda through Zalo groups and trade union communication channels.
Through this, the "digital literacy" movement has been disseminated to 100% of union members and workers, contributing to raising awareness and digital skills in the context of digital transformation.
Mr. Do Cao Duc - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Lap Thach Commune Trade Union - said that in the coming time, grassroots trade unions will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity; well perform the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
He also emphasized that the organization of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health activities in 2026 needs to be implemented practically and effectively, contributing to improving working conditions and enhancing the material and spiritual life of workers in the area.
