Da Nang - City Trade Union propagates laws to workers at self-managed worker groups in the dormitory area of Lien Chieu ward.
News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 15th said: The City Labor Federation in coordination with Military Region 5 organized a program to propagate and disseminate laws to workers belonging to the Self-Managed Workers Group in Lien Chieu ward.

Attending the program were representatives of leaders of Military Region 5, the City Labor Federation, Thanh Khe Basic Social Insurance, Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union and nearly 200 union members and workers.
The conference is an important opportunity for workers to access legal information directly and practically, contributing to raising awareness of law compliance and building a healthy cultural life in residential areas.
At the conference, the speakers conveyed many practical contents related to the 2019 Labor Code, the 2015 Law on Occupational Safety and Health, and guiding documents for implementation.
The content focuses on the rights and obligations of workers; regulations on labor contracts, working hours, rest hours; as well as measures to ensure safety in labor, prevent labor accidents and occupational diseases.
In addition, the conference also disseminated new points of social insurance policies, helping workers better understand their rights when participating in insurance such as sickness, maternity, occupational accident, retirement benefits...
Thereby, raising awareness of the role of social insurance as a "social security net", contributing to stabilizing life and peace of mind for long-term work.
The conference atmosphere became more lively and closer with the skit "One Day as a Wife" performed by the Mass Mobilization Department of Military Region 5, incorporating messages in a gentle and easy-to-understand way.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also organized a question-and-answer session with prizes to consolidate knowledge and create positive interaction with participants.
On this occasion, Military Region 5 presented 5 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. This is a practical activity showing the concern and care of the Trade Union organization and coordinating units for the lives of workers.
Previously, the two units also coordinated to organize a propaganda session for workers at the Hoa Khanh ward dormitory self-managed worker group with about nearly 150 workers; and presented 5 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
