Free health check-ups for more than 100 workers in Thanh Hoa
Thanh Hoa - More than 100 workers were consulted and had free health check-ups at a program co-organized by the Provincial Labor Federation.
On April 18, at Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) in coordination with Medlatec Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. organized a free health check-up program for union members and workers.
Attending the program were Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of leaders of Medlatec Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd., and a large number of union members and workers.
The program is one of the activities belonging to the series of events of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation in response to "Workers' Month", "Moment of Action on Occupational Safety and Health" in 2026.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Head of Trade Union Affairs Committee - said that from the goal of taking care of the health of union members and workers, the Provincial Labor Federation has developed a plan and coordinated to organize free health check-ups.
Through examinations, workers can grasp their health status; if abnormalities are detected, they will be consulted and treated promptly, contributing to disease prevention and peace of mind in labor and production" - Ms. Hoa shared.
At the program, more than 100 union members and workers received free eye examinations, blood sugar and blood fat tests, and health consultations, with a value of about 500,000 VND/person. Medlatec Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. also donated 100 liver cancer and colorectal cancer screening vouchers to union members and workers, worth 440,000 VND/voucher.
On this occasion, at the worker cultural space of the Trade Union of Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation presented books and propaganda materials to union members and workers.
