Health check for nearly 5,300 workers at Formosa Ha Tinh
Ha Tinh - Nearly 5,300 workers at Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. are undergoing periodic health check-ups and occupational disease screening.
On April 17, the Provincial Labor Federation said that Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. had just organized the first phase of periodic health check-ups combined with occupational health check-ups for workers.
Accordingly, about 5,300 workers were given general health check-ups and screening for occupational diseases. The content of the examination focused on early detection of risk factors, contributing to ensuring safe and effective working conditions.
The examination was organized methodically and scientifically, showing the business's concern for the lives and health of workers. Thereby, raising awareness about health care and occupational disease prevention among workers.
It is expected that phase 2 will be held around October 2026 with a scale of nearly 2,000 workers. The target audience is job positions with high risk factors, in order to strengthen the detection and management of occupational diseases.
This activity contributes to the Trade Union organization to better care for the lives and health of union members and workers, towards building a safe and sustainable working environment.
