Quang Phu Trade Union promotes care and development of union members
Thanh Hoa - Quang Phu Ward Trade Union summarizes Q1 of 2026, deploys Q2 tasks, focuses on practical care for union members and workers.
On April 14, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that Quang Phu Ward Trade Union had just organized a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the first quarter, deploying tasks for the second quarter of 2026, with a focus on grassroots levels, practical care for union members and workers.
Quang Phu Ward Trade Union currently manages 39 grassroots trade unions with 5,657 union members. In the first quarter of 2026, trade union levels coordinated with the government and professional departments to well implement grassroots democracy regulations. 100% of non-business units organized conferences of officials, civil servants, and employees; 16/30 enterprises organized employee conferences according to regulations.
The work of caring for union members and workers has been effectively implemented. During the 2026 Lunar New Year, 100% of grassroots trade unions organized visits and presented 1,810 gifts with a total budget of over 1 billion VND; 10 units organized the "Tet Sum vay" program.
The patriotic emulation movement continued to be promoted, recording nearly 20 initiatives and topics applied in practice, bringing economic value of hundreds of millions of VND. The work of developing union members was focused on, admitting 45 new union members; mobilizing the establishment of 2 grassroots trade unions. At the same time, introducing 37 outstanding union members for the Party to consider, of which 16 were admitted.
In the second quarter of 2026, the Ward Trade Union determined to focus on effectively organizing "Workers' Month", "Action Month on occupational safety and health"; strengthen grasping the situation of union members, promptly proposing solutions to arising difficulties. At the same time, promote emulation movements associated with professional tasks, replicate advanced examples, and encourage initiatives and technical improvements.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Labor Federation.
