Da Nang Trade Union promptly supports union members with critical illnesses

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 11th said: The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Staami Vina Co., Ltd. has organized visits and provided support to 2 trade union members of the company suffering from critical illnesses.

The support funds are transferred by the Da Nang City Labor Federation and authorized grassroots trade unions to directly hand over to union members, in order to promptly share difficulties and add motivation for workers to feel secure in treatment and overcome illness.

Two union members who received support are Mr. Nguyen Dang Huong (blood cancer) and Ms. Vo Thi Lua (breast cancer). Both are currently undergoing long-term treatment, facing many difficulties, and need timely care and encouragement.

Previously, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also supported 2 other cases: Ms. Phan Thi Kim Chi (recurrent cultured stem cell tumor), union member of Fujikura Automotive Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Mr. Tran Quang Minh (suffered from stroke, myocardial infarction), union member of Keyhinge Toys/Matrix Vietnam Co., Ltd.

At the visits, representatives of grassroots trade unions inquired about the health and life of union members and their families; and encouraged union members to maintain their spirit, actively treat, and soon stabilize their health.

This is an activity that shows the timely and practical concern of the trade union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers; thereby contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual affection in the business community.
