Mau A Trade Union improves operational efficiency, takes care of union members
Lao Cai - With more than 1,000 union members, Mau A Commune Trade Union is gradually innovating its activities, improving the quality of care and protection of workers' rights.
From July 2025 to now, Mau A Commune Trade Union has managed 27 grassroots trade unions with 1,014 union members. Employment and income of workers are basically stable, averaging about 5.5 million VND/person/month in the production and business sector and 7.5 million VND/person/month in the non-business sector.
Representative work and protection of workers' rights are emphasized. 100% of non-business units organize conferences of officials and employees; 75% of businesses organize dialogues at workplaces; 8 businesses sign collective labor agreements, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.

Activities to care for union members are implemented practically. On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" attracted 70 union members to participate, awarding 139 gifts worth more than 190 million VND.
Mau A Commune Trade Union also supported 65 union members affected by the storm with the amount of 65 million VND; 138 union members were supported at the "Trade Union Tet Market" with a total value of 69 million VND.
At the working session on April 9, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Standing Vice Chairman Vu Cao Minh requested Mau A Commune Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen grasping union members' thoughts; improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting workers' rights, contributing to building a strong trade union organization.
