Ward trade unions in Hai Phong sign emulation agreements for 2026

At the conference, the Ward Trade Union Emulation Cluster discussed and approved emulation criteria for 2026. In which, striving to complete 100% of the targets of signing new and re-signing collective labor agreements, reaching a type B rate assigned by the City Labor Federation. Each unit organizes at least 1 activity to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026. At the same time, monitor, summarize, and report on the law enforcement situation; grasp and coordinate to participate in resolving collective labor disputes, collective work stoppages, strikes; effectively implement coordinated activities to inspect and supervise the implementation of labor laws.

Regarding the work of building strong trade union organizations; participating in building a strong Party and government, units have completed the targets of establishing grassroots trade unions and developing union members assigned by the City Labor Federation, more than 80% of grassroots trade unions are rated as completing tasks well or better. Each unit has at least 2 topics, solutions, and initiatives participating in the Technical Innovation Contest among trade union members and workers and employees of the city in 2026; coordinating and urging grassroots trade unions to well implement financial management, budget reporting, and settlement in accordance with regulations; completing 100% of the targets of the Hai Phong City Trade Union Charity Fund; social funds launched by the City Labor Federation.

Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation proposed that the emulation cluster focus on 7 core tasks. In which, the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers needs to be very specific, targeted, and timely, not evenly distributed, or formal. Units should proactively grasp the ideological situation, employment, income, and living standards, and issues arising in enterprises and labor relations to promptly coordinate handling.

Units are interested in building strong trade union organizations, improving the quality of trade union officials, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in direction, administration, synthesis and organization of activities. From there, apply to update information faster, grasp the grassroots situation more closely, support grassroots trade unions more promptly, manage work more scientifically, transparently, and effectively.

The emulation cluster must operate truly as a working coordination mechanism, not just a form of organization, maintaining meetings, sharing experiences, inspecting, urging, summarizing, generalizing, replicating good models and good practices; and at the same time frankly pointing out limitations, weak links, and slow progress to promptly rectify.

Immediately after the conference, the Cluster urgently concretized the agreement into the work plan of each unit; clearly assigned people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear progress; seriously and synchronously implemented, not allowing the signing to stop at paper commitments. The head of each unit must be directly responsible for the quality of implementation of their unit's emulation agreement, towards successfully completing the set goals, contributing to improving the quality of trade union activities and making practical contributions to the common tasks of the locality and the city" - Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet emphasized.
