Grassroots trade union in Hai Phong proposes many solutions to help businesses stabilize production

At the conference, most opinions reflected the difficult situation due to labor shortages. Also from labor shortages, difficult recruitment, businesses have to arrange prolonged overtime work; have to re-lease labor... leading to problems in labor relations.

The Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions also shared that due to the impact of the world economic situation continuing to have many fluctuations, especially tensions in the Middle East region, which have affected the global energy market. This development has led to an increase in transportation costs, logistics and some consumer goods, putting certain pressure on the living expenses of workers. Businesses are also affected by transportation costs, increased raw material prices, reduced orders... From there, grassroots trade unions propose solutions to support businesses to remove difficulties in labor recruitment, electricity, input costs, administrative procedures, taxes, fees and customs clearance of goods. At the same time, pay attention to stabilizing energy prices, gasoline and oil prices and logistics costs to contribute to stabilizing production, jobs and income of workers.

Before the opinions and recommendations of grassroots Trade Union representatives, Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation Nguyen Anh Tuan directly answered questions. Hai Phong City Labor Federation shared difficulties with businesses, and will summarize all opinions of the grassroots to propose to the city as well as relevant functional agencies. Regarding recommendations related to procedures for applying for Creative Labor Certificates and procedures for borrowing capital from the Capital Assistance Fund, the Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation assigned relevant departments and units to study reducing unnecessary procedures to encourage and support union members and workers.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation - requested grassroots trade unions to focus on improving the quality of collective labor agreements; organize activities to care for the health and spirit of workers. Units propagate and disseminate to workers about loan packages of the Fund to support poor workers and employees so that workers can directly access and borrow capital, and push back black credit among workers.

Grassroots trade union officials continue to promote the emulation movement "Good labor - creative labor" at enterprises, aiming for solutions to help enterprises save costs, improve productivity and product quality. From there, affirming the intelligence and creativity of Hai Phong union members and workers, enhancing the role of trade unions in accompanying enterprises.
