Lao Cai Trade Union "ignites the fire" of cultural life among workers
Lao Cai - In recent years, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has been widely implemented by trade union levels, creating clear changes.
Closely following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Party's resolution, the Provincial Labor Federation has integrated the movement with emulation activities such as "Good labor, creative labor", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene"...
In which, building "Agences, units, and businesses that meet cultural standards" is identified as a key task.
In the administrative and non-business sectors, the emulation movement for office culture and improving public service ethics has been promoted; the business sector focuses on building industrial style, labor discipline and civilized lifestyle.
In the period 2023-2024, the whole province has 2,556 agencies, units, and businesses meeting cultural standards; in 2025, this rate exceeded 92%.
The highlight of the movement is the spread of "good information, beautiful stories", contributing to pushing back bad and toxic information, while building a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals.
Union members actively participate in environmental protection, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; maintaining models "No Smoke", "Green - Clean - Beautiful", "Safety in terms of security and order".
Along with that, cultural and sports activities are organized enthusiastically, creating many useful playgrounds such as workers' singing festivals, CNVCLĐ sports tournaments, creative programs... contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers.
Lao Cai Trade Union also focuses on promoting the effectiveness of cultural institutions, and at the same time encourages units to build a lifelong learning environment with law bookshelves and relaxation corners at workplaces.
Reality shows that the movement to build a cultural life has deeply penetrated the lives of workers, contributing to the formation of a disciplined and humane working environment.
This is also an important spiritual foundation for workers to feel secure in sticking with and contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.
