Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union, Da Nang launches sponsorship for children of union members in difficult circumstances

News from Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 13 said: Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union organized a launching ceremony to sponsor children of union members in difficult circumstances with the theme "Raising the steps of children to school".

At the program, from mobilized funds from companies, grassroots trade unions, and cooperative organizations, Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union sponsored and supported the care and nurturing of 11 students in difficult circumstances, who are children of union members and workers with a support level of 500,000 VND per month, with a total support level of 55 million VND/year.

Thereby helping their families reduce difficulties, and at the same time creating joy and motivation for children to continue going to school and continue writing their dreams for a brighter future.

On this occasion, the Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union presented 11 gifts to children in difficult circumstances in the area with a total value of 11 million VND. At the same time, the Organizing Committee also prepared a special space, which is the "Happiness Booth".

Here, each child will be able to personally choose their favorite gifts such as books, school supplies..., contributing to bringing them joy, spirit of sharing and feeling of being cared for and loved from very small and practical actions from the trade union organization.

It is expected that the "Happiness Booth" will be held periodically at least twice a year, on International Children's Day June 1st, Mid-Autumn Festival or integrated into activities to summarize and reward the work of sponsoring students who are children of union members in difficult circumstances.
