Giving gifts to workers with critical illnesses at the "Day for Workers' Health"
On April 16, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized the "Day for Workers' Health" in 2026, with many meaningful activities.
Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh, Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, representatives of ministries, branches, central and local organizations...
This is a practical activity to care for the health of union members and workers, and at the same time spread the noble gesture of blood donation to save people, contributing to building a community of compassion and sharing.
At the Festival, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor donated 123 units of blood.
In addition, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 10 workers suffering from critical illnesses; presented health insurance cards to 20 union members; seminar on proactive health care and occupational disease prevention and voluntary blood donation activities.
