Da Nang Trade Union propagates policies and laws to 24 self-managed worker groups

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 18 said: The City Labor Federation in coordination with Military Region 5 organized a program to propagate and mobilize law compliance for 200 union members and workers belonging to 24 self-managed worker groups in boarding houses under Cam Le Ward Trade Union.

Attending the program were representatives of unit leaders: Colonel Nguyen Dang Thach - Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of Military Region 5; Ms. Phan Thi Ha - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the City Labor Federation; Mr. Ly Khanh Man - Deputy Director of Cam Le Grassroots Social Insurance; Mr. Dang Huu Duc - Chairman of Cam Le Ward Trade Union.

At the program, union members and workers were informed of the key contents of the 2019 Labor Code, the 2015 Law on Occupational Safety and Health, and regulations on social insurance policies, helping to understand their rights, obligations, and proactively protect their legitimate rights.

Also at the propaganda session, the Organizing Committee presented 5 "Trade Union Affection" gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

This is a meaningful gift from Military Region 5 to union members and workers in self-managed worker groups with the desire that union members and workers will strive to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

According to the Chairman of Cam Le Ward Trade Union, the meaningful activities of the City Labor Federation and Military Region 5 not only help improve legal knowledge for workers but also show the solidarity of the Trade Union organization, the armed forces and the concern for workers.

In the coming time, the Ward Trade Union will continue to dedicate many activities aimed at workers in self-managed worker groups in boarding houses to continue to improve the quality of activities in self-managed groups.
