Lao Cai Industrial Park Trade Union develops union members in enterprises
Lao Cai - The admission of union members and the establishment of 5 new grassroots trade unions continues to expand the network to protect workers' rights.
On the afternoon of April 23, the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province, base 2, held a ceremony to admit union members, announce the decision to establish grassroots trade unions at 5 enterprises and preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo.
At the program, nearly 200 workers were admitted to the trade union organization. 5 new grassroots trade unions were established, contributing to expanding the trade union organization in the production sector, creating a support for workers and promoting stable labor relations.
In which, grassroots trade unions established at enterprises include: Thanh Long Thai Ha Trading and Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company; Tien Cuong Construction and Trading One Member Limited Liability Company; ARMY Lao Cai Education Development Joint Stock Company; Dai An Bonded Warehouse Joint Stock Company; San Lung Wine Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem requested new grassroots trade unions to quickly consolidate their organizations, build operating regulations, proactively care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members; and at the same time coordinate with businesses to promote the emulation movement for labor production, improving productivity and efficiency.
Also on this occasion, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province organized a preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW.
Through evaluation, the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style has been seriously implemented, associated with production and business tasks.
In 5 years, 35/50 grassroots trade unions have organized preliminary reviews; many models and technical innovation initiatives have been applied, contributing to reducing costs and increasing productivity.
Some initiatives bring high economic value, helping businesses earn billions of VND in profits, and employees are rewarded worthily.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were commended and rewarded.
The activity contributes to affirming the role of trade union organizations in accompanying businesses, improving living standards and arousing the creative spirit of workers.
