Grassroots Trade Union of Golden Lotus Center: Improving the working environment, minimizing the risk of labor accidents

In 2025, the Executive Committee of the central grassroots trade union paid attention to consolidating the organizational structure for OSH work in the unit, including 40 people. Accordingly, the Executive Committee assigned officials to be responsible for monitoring, advising and coordinating with professional departments in deploying OSH activities; regularly inspecting and supervising the implementation of OSH regulations; promptly detecting and proposing to overcome existing problems and risks of unsafety in the production process...

In addition, the trade union participates in supervising the implementation of occupational accident and disease regimes, promptly visiting and encouraging workers who have had accidents; coordinating in vocational training, ensuring the legitimate rights of workers according to the regulations of the Corporation.

The movement to promote initiatives, works to improve working conditions and build regulations on OSH commendation have been implemented synchronously and effectively. The Trade Union has actively responded and propagated, widely deploying to union members and workers the initiative movements of the Corporation, thereby encouraging the spirit of innovation and creativity associated with improving labor safety and efficiency. Trade unions at all levels participate in contributing opinions to build and improve the commendation regulations of the Corporation Trade Union, ensuring practicality, fairness and timeliness.

Mr. Vu Thanh Dat - Member of the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of the Golden Lotus Center said that, promoting the achieved results, in 2026, the central grassroots trade union will continue to promote the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, Occupational Safety and Health"; organize periodic training on Occupational Safety and Health, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection.

The grassroots trade union will also launch internal communication campaigns, such as: Deploying waste sorting at source; encouraging the use of environmentally friendly materials, gradually building the image of "Safe workplace - professional services - friendly environment". The grassroots trade union will promptly reward individuals who detect unsafe risks, collectives maintaining a good working environment, and at the same time replicate typical examples and good models.
