Creating a safe working environment for workers in Ham Kiem Industrial Park

On April 22, Ham Kiem Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that they had coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police to organize propaganda and disseminate legal regulations to businesses in industrial parks in the area.

The activity focuses on raising awareness of the team of car drivers picking up and dropping off workers, especially during the peak period of April 30th and May 1st holidays, when the traffic volume increases.

Ham Kiem commune currently has two industrial parks, Ham Kiem 1 and Ham Kiem 2, located adjacent to each other, attracting many workers to work.

The propaganda program has the participation of representatives of 12 businesses and 66 drivers driving passenger cars carrying workers at Ham Kiem II Industrial Park.

At the working session, Ham Kiem Commune Police provided preliminary information on the security and order situation in the area in the past time. Among them, there are potentially complex factors related to the production and business activities of enterprises.

The police force also disseminated regulations related to the management of entry and exit for foreigners; ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting; environmental protection; labor safety and food safety at collective kitchens.

Along with the above content, representatives of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 analyzed the causes of traffic accidents that have occurred recently. Through this, they pointed out common violations and consequences for workers and businesses.

From there, the role of the Industrial Park Management Board, business owners and transport units picking up and dropping off workers is emphasized in organizing propaganda and reminding workers to strictly comply with regulations when participating in traffic.

Notably, all drivers transporting workers participating in the program were required to sign commitments to comply with regulations on road traffic order and safety.

The content of the commitment focuses on complying with speed, not carrying more than the prescribed number of people, not using alcohol and beer while driving and ensuring vehicle technical conditions.

Through propaganda activities, the police force aims to protect the rights and create a safe working environment for workers and laborers in industrial parks.

Raising awareness of law compliance, especially traffic safety and labor safety, not only helps limit risks and accidents but also contributes to building a safe and disciplined working environment.
