Z129 Factory Trade Union promotes labor safety work
The Trade Union of Factory Z129, General Department of National Defense Industry (Ministry of National Defense) together with business leaders have implemented many solutions and initiatives to contribute to preventing and limiting labor accidents and occupational diseases, ensuring the safety of life and health for workers (NLĐ).
Along with emulation activities to build a working environment landscape, in the past time, the factory's grassroots trade union has always paid attention to ensuring safety in labor and production for workers. The factory has had many synchronous policies and solutions to effectively implement occupational safety and health (OSH) work such as: Developing annual plans on OSH work, regularly issuing new and updating many regulations, procedures, and work safety guidelines to comply with the provisions of law.
The current network of occupational safety and health (ATVSV) of the factory has 59 people assigned to production teams at workshops and enterprises. Each production team is arranged with 1 ATVSV; it is regularly consolidated annually to suit the labor organization structure of the unit. Through monthly reports of this force, it has promptly detected risks of accidents at the workplace, thereby the work of occupational safety and health management proactively and promptly overcomes them, ensuring safe working conditions and a hygienic working environment.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Anh The - Chairman of the Factory's grassroots trade union said that in the coming time, the grassroots trade union will continue to promote propaganda and education to raise awareness for officials, union members, and workers about OSH work.
In addition, regularly review to ensure factors for production and work, especially factors to ensure safety in working conditions; promote the role of the safety and hygiene team in inspecting, urging and reminding employees before each working shift.
The grassroots trade union will also continue to review and supplement regulations and rules on ensuring safety for workers, fully distributing working equipment, labor protection; applying automation solutions such as automatic blank issuance to ensure safety. Organize environmental monitoring, planning barracks systems, planting trees, and implementing Kaizen-5S well to create a green - clean - beautiful working environment.

At the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health - Workers' Month 2026, 5 units were awarded certificates of merit by the VGCL for their outstanding achievements in the topic "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring Occupational Safety and Health" and the workers' movement, recognizing important contributions in protecting health and building a safe working environment.
