Launching the socialist grassroots trade union model of Kien An Hospital, Hai Phong

The construction of the grassroots trade union of Kien An Hospital in the socialist orientation aims to ensure the practical rights of union members and workers; create a democratic, fair, and united working environment, contributing to improving the effectiveness of work for sustainable development of Kien An Hospital.

Accordingly, the Hospital Trade Union determined to implement the model according to 4 contents. Regarding care and protection of workers' rights, every year, the trade union organizes conferences of officials and employees according to regulations; periodic dialogues between Party committees and hospital leaders with officials, union members, and workers at least 2 times/year; well implement grassroots democracy regulations. At the same time, ensure that 100% of union members and workers participate in social insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance according to the provisions of law; receive gifts, visits, and care on holidays and Tet. Union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with dangerous diseases, and affected by natural disasters and risks are supported by the trade union.

Every year, the trade union coordinates to organize the "Tet Sum vay" program for union members and workers with practical forms; 100% of workers are organized by employers to have periodic health check-ups according to regulations, ensuring at least 1 time/year. For subjects working in heavy, hazardous, and dangerous conditions, periodic health check-ups are conducted at least 2 times/year, with records of monitoring and storing results at the unit.

Regarding improving cultural and spiritual life, trade unions coordinate to organize activities focusing on cultural and artistic topics at least 2 times/year; coordinate to organize sightseeing and tourism for union members and workers at least 1 time/year; organize at least 2 sports tournaments/year for union members and workers, and encourage physical training movements...

The Trade Union coordinates to launch the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement annually, with evaluations, rewards, and commendations for typical individuals and collectives. 100% of union members participate in emulation movements launched by the Trade Union, linking emulation with professional tasks, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment. 100% of female union members participate and well implement the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework".
