Mass women in Dong Thap in the new situation
Dong Thap - The Provincial Labor Federation is implementing many practical solutions to improve the quality of activities of the Mass Women's Committee in the new situation.
Responsible targets
The Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just issued a program to improve the quality of activities of the Mass Women's Union (BNCQC) in the period 2026–2030, based on the implementation of the Resolution of the Dong Thap Trade Union Congress (CĐ) for the term 2025–2030. The overarching goal is to raise awareness and responsibility of the Trade Union Executive Committees at all levels in directing women's activities (NC), and at the same time promote the advisory role of BNCQC in caring for female union members, workers, and laborers (ĐV, CN, NLĐ).

According to the program, by 2030, the province strives for 100% of grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) of enterprises (DN) that meet the conditions to establish BNCQC according to regulations; 100% of female trade union officials at all levels are thoroughly grasped of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws related to female labor and gender equality; 100% of officials in charge of NC work are trained and professionally fostered.

Every year, Dong Thap sets a target of having 90% or more female union members achieve the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework"; at least 80% of legal and legitimate petitions and proposals of female workers through trade unions are considered and resolved. In addition, at least 2 new models in NC activities suitable for reality are built each year.
Practical and grassroots solutions
To realize the goals, the program sets out many key groups of solutions. First of all, it is to promote propaganda and raise awareness of officials, union members, workers, and laborers about the role of NC work. BNCQC at all levels will proactively advise on building programs and operating plans that are close to the needs of female union members; maintain information and reporting regimes; strengthen inspection, guidance and promptly adjust activities to suit reality.
Along with that, the work of propagating policies and laws related to female workers and children continues to be innovated with many flexible forms, suitable for each target group. The content focuses on gender equality, reproductive health care, prevention of domestic violence, building happy families... At the same time, the Trade Union actively participates in contributing opinions to build policies, strengthening supervision of the implementation of regimes for female workers at enterprises (DN).

An important highlight is focusing on caring for the material and spiritual life of female union members and children of workers. Trade unions at all levels strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining to include in labor agreements clauses that are more beneficial for female workers such as salary support for the 13th month, lunch meals, nutritional regimes for pregnant female workers, and childcare expense support...
Activities to care for holidays, Tet and anniversaries continue to be maintained and innovated in content and form. In parallel, emulation movements among female union members are promoted, focusing on the movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework", associated with the actual conditions at enterprises, thereby arousing the capacity and creativity of female workers.

The program also focuses on maintaining and replicating effective models such as "Your Health", "Milk Extraction and Storage Room at Workplace", "Pregnant Women and Child Raising Club", "Collective Wedding", "Summer Camp for Workers' Children", "Happy Bus Trip"... and at the same time researching and deploying new models to support female union members in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses, and their children overcoming difficulties and studying well...
With synchronous goals and solutions, the program is expected to create clear changes in NC activities, contributing to improving the lives and positions of female workers, and making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province in the new period.
