Prime Minister directs care for people's lives to give up land to build expressway
Binh Dinh - Surveying the expressway project in Binh Dinh, the Prime Minister suggested that the locality pay attention to the lives of people giving up land for expressway projects.
Continuing his working trip to Binh Dinh, on the afternoon of March 22, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Son Trieu tunnel, listening to reports on the two component projects of Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh expressways (under the North - South expressway project).
Reporting to the Prime Minister, the investor's representative said that the two component projects of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh expressways have a total length of 134km, passing through Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces.
In terms of site clearance, raw materials have been resolved, the construction of the two projects has reached over 70% of output. It is expected that by September 2, 110km will be completed, the remaining 20km will be completed 1 month later.
At the survey, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed and praised the efforts of investors, localities, contractors... in implementing the North - South expressway projects.
The Prime Minister requested to continue promoting the spirit of 3 shifts and 4 teams, "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, not losing to storms and winds", "eating and sleeping urgently", "not having enough time to work at night during the day", "over holidays, during Tet, during holidays"... to ensure the set progress, while improving quality, ensuring the technical, aesthetic, safety and environmental sanitation of the project.
The Prime Minister requested the project management board to continue to pay attention to the income, material and spiritual life of workers. At the same time, key contractors need to cooperate and create conditions for subcontractors and local businesses to grow, mature and do other projects.
At the same time, it is recommended that localities continue to pay attention to the lives of people who have given up the land for the project, ensuring that the new housing is better than the old one. The Prime Minister also noted the need to study and implement reasonable intersections to maximize the efficiency of the North - South expressway, exploit new development space, calculate and most effectively use land for industry, tourism, services, etc.
