Vinh Long Trade Union listens to workers at the boarding house area

Implementing the weekly work plan from May 25-29, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation simultaneously deployed many key activities to care for union members and workers, strengthen inspection, propaganda and emulation movements.

Among them, the highlight is the program "Coming to workers' boarding houses" organized at Bao Ngoc boarding house, Tra Vinh ward and some boarding houses in Phu Quoi commune. The activity aims to visit and grasp the life, working and living conditions of long-term rented workers.

At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee conducted an inspection of the compliance with the Vietnam Trade Union Charter at 02 grassroots trade unions including Poland Tourism Co., Ltd. and Showa Ben Tre Garment Co., Ltd., thereby promptly rectifying and improving the quality of trade union activities.

The Provincial Labor Federation also focuses on preparing to organize movement activities such as the "Thank you workers" program at grassroots trade unions and commending "Exemplary worker families in 2026", in order to recognize and encourage workers who have made many contributions.

In addition, the unit guides grassroots trade unions to organize activities on International Children's Day June 1st, creating conditions for workers' children to have fun and receive better spiritual care.

In addition, occupational safety and health training for trade union officials and occupational safety and health workers is being implemented in 03 areas with about 120 trainees each, contributing to improving skills and minimizing risks in production labor.

Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a preliminary review of 05 years of implementing the action programs of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, assessing the results of innovation in trade union organization and activities in the new situation, as a basis for orienting tasks in the coming time.
