Acceptance of a scientific topic on the strategy of great national unity

On July 30, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a conference to accept the ministerial-level scientific topic "Research on building the strategy of great national unity to 2030, vision to 2045".

Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman - Secretary General of the Central Committee (CC) of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) attended and chaired the Conference. Also attending was Mr. Tran Thang - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the VFF.

According to Ms. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Training Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Deputy Head of the project, in the cause of building and protecting the country, promoting the strength of great national unity always plays an important role and is an urgent requirement, a key solution to bring the country to sustainable development. The process of building, consolidating, and promoting the strength of the national unity bloc has achieved many achievements but also faced many difficulties and challenges in the current context, posing the requirement to continue to improve policies and guidelines on promoting traditions and the strength of great national unity.

With that meaning, the topic contributes to clarifying the theoretical basis of great national unity, the core political role, and the responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc; analyzing the current situation of building the great national unity bloc; on that basis, providing scientific arguments for building the strategy of great national unity to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The topic has proposed the basic contents of the strategy of great national unity to 2030, vision to 2045, including a system of goals, viewpoints, tasks and key groups of solutions. In which, the strategic objectives are identified around three basic pillars: strengthening social consensus, consolidating people's trust and promoting the internal strength of the nation.

The proposed solutions are in the direction of expanding the scope of gathering, diversifying mobilization methods, effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, promoting democracy, harmonizing social interests, strengthening the application of science and technology and digital transformation, and at the same time improving the effectiveness of coordination between subjects in the political system. People with high education or trained in political theory tend to appreciate more the importance of the strategic goals of great unity that need to be achieved.

At the same time, the topic has proposed solutions to promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc, including innovating the content and methods of propaganda and mobilization, strengthening social consensus; ensuring harmony of interests of all classes of people, social security; promoting the people's right to mastery; improving the quality of supervision and social criticism; preserving and promoting cultural identity; promoting digital transformation, building a "Digital Front"; strengthening coordination between member organizations; consolidating the organizational structure and improving the quality of the Front's staff...

At the Conference, experts and scientists discussed and contributed opinions to the content of the Project. The majority of delegates assessed that the project had completed the research goals and tasks set out, with close analysis and arguments, thereby providing a scientific basis and practical arguments for building the strategy of great national unity to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Project Steering Committee in completing the Project "Research on building the strategy of great national unity to 2030, vision to 2045" with meticulous and serious research. The project's products are complete and basically meet the requirements of the ministerial-level scientific research project of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to Vice Chairman - General Secretary Ha Thi Nga, the Vietnam Fatherland Front does not directly create growth, but plays a particularly important role in creating social consensus, implementing social supervision and criticism, policies; and plays an important role in promoting the resources of the whole society to work with the Party and State to achieve the socio-economic development goals of the country.

In that spirit, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must further promote its role in promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus to join hands with the entire Party, army, and people to implement the country's development goals in a new context," Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga stated clearly.

Recalling the content of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023, the eighth Conference of the 13th Central Executive Committee of the Party on continuing to promote tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga said that the Resolution has affirmed: "The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations play a political core role in gathering, uniting, and strongly promoting all resources, potentials, and creativity of the People for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland."; and in the content of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, this task continues to be emphasized.

Vice Chairman - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga said that, based on those bases, the research results of the Project are of theoretical and practical value. The groups of solutions built have basically been suitable for the current situation. On that basis, the Project Steering Committee needs to continue to clarify this content to closely follow the actual situation in the very new context according to the analysis, comments and criticisms of the members of the Acceptance Council, thereby showing the stature of this scientific research project.

Vice Chairman - General Secretary Ha Thi Nga said that in the process of research, the Project Steering Committee has closely followed the Action Programs of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central organizations and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term. The recommendations and proposals drawn from the Project's research are very specific and quite practical for each subject in the political system, contributing to creating a foundation for building the strategy of great national unity according to the Party's viewpoint.

The recommendations mentioned in the Project have profound practical value, if organized and implemented, it will make a very important contribution to innovating the Party's leadership method, promoting the role of the State in institutionalizing the Party's guidelines and policies on great national unity into a system of laws, mechanisms and policies and organizing implementation in practice. At the same time, promoting the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new model to contribute to consolidating the great national unity bloc, implementing the Party's strategic goals on national development in the new period" - Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga emphasized.

Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga requested that, based on the evaluations and comments of the Council members, the Project Steering Committee and the research group will seriously absorb, quickly edit, supplement, and complete the research products of the Project.
