Nearly 4,500 Da Nang workers are cared for with Trade Union Meals
Da Nang - Nearly 4,500 union members and workers at 10 businesses are supported with meals and receive gifts in the "Trade Union Meal" program.
To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), on July 28 and 29, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the "Trade Union Meal" program at 10 grassroots trade unions.
Leaders of the City Labor Federation directly visited businesses, had meals together, visited and listened to the sharing of union members and workers.
The program offers nutritious meals, with more new dishes for nearly 4,500 workers. The City Labor Federation supports 30,000 VND per meal, grassroots trade unions and businesses contribute additional funds.
Total resources for implementing the program at 10 grassroots trade unions are more than 270 million VND.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation presented 140 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND, to encourage workers to overcome difficulties and feel secure in their work.
Not only improving the quality of lunch meals, "Trade Union Meals" also creates an opportunity for trade union officials, businesses and workers to sit down together and share difficulties in work and life.
The activity contributes to increasing cohesion at the enterprise, and at the same time demonstrates the responsibility to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
