Khanh Hoa builds digital trade unions for workers
In the new development phase, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) identifies taking care of union members from building a digital Trade Union, helping workers adapt to digital transformation, improve productivity and not be left behind in the journey of double-digit economic growth.
Ms. Vo Thi Bich Loan, a carpentry worker at an export wood furniture manufacturing enterprise in Suoi Dau Industrial Park, still remembers the emotional feeling when receiving a support of 2 million VND from the Trade Union organization in the program to show gratitude to workers (NLĐ).
When I learned that the provincial trade union supported me, I was very happy. Not only because of the money but also because of the great encouragement for me to have more faith to continue working" - Ms. Loan shared.
The circumstances of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lan, a worker at Phong Phu Household Textile Joint Stock Company, are also difficult when suffering from blood cancer and raising two young children alone. In this year's Workers' Month, she was supported by the Provincial Labor Federation with 1 million VND and many gifts to encourage and add strength to overcome illness and stabilize her life.
Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that caring for union members is always a key task, and also a measure of the effectiveness of the Trade Union organization's activities.
Many new activities such as "Month of Listening to Trade Union Members' Voices", the "My Job Story" contest, the program to thank workers and the movement "Good Labor - High Productivity - Good Income" have been widely implemented by the Provincial Labor Federation, creating motivation for union members to improve their skills, promote initiatives and be attached to businesses for a long time.
Building a digital Trade Union, promoting the application of technology in managing union members, operating, propagating and providing services in the digital environment to be able to quickly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, and promptly handle recommendations from grassroots levels.
Khanh Hoa Trade Union will continue to launch the movement "Good Labor - Higher Productivity - Good Income", encouraging union members to apply science, technology and innovation to production, contributing to improving labor productivity and increasing income...
In 2025-2026, trade union levels mobilized nearly 119 billion VND to care for more than 200,000 union members and workers through welfare programs. Notably, the program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" supported 278 union members with critical illnesses and occupational diseases with a total budget of 451 million VND. Specifically, on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 970 gifts worth 485 million VND.
