Hanoi standardizes nearly 4.2 million land plots: Documents people need to bring with them

Hanoi City is implementing a 45-day and night peak period to standardize data on nearly 4.2 million land plots according to the criteria "right - sufficient - clean - living". Thousands of officials are mobilized to work overtime to complete the land database before August 30, serving digital transformation and improving the efficiency of state management.

In recent days, from early morning to late at night, many cultural houses and community activity houses in the city have always been crowded with people coming to compare and confirm land information. People bring land use right certificates, citizen identification cards and related documents to compare data on electronic cadastral maps.

According to the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the city has a natural area of about 33,984ha with more than 4.19 million land plots, and is one of the localities with the largest volume of land database construction in the country.

By July 19, Hanoi City had completed the standardization of 1,006.485 land plots belonging to the group of data that need to be cleaned according to the criteria "right - sufficient - clean - living", reaching about 24% of the total. About 1.9 million land plots continue to be reviewed, enriched and data cleaning completed before July 30.

For nearly 1.2 million remaining land plots, including about 950,000 plots that have not been measured and 250,000 plots that have been measured but need to be adjusted and supplemented, the city sets a target to complete before August 30.

To ensure data standardization is smooth, people when coming to work need to prepare:

Certificate of land use rights or documents proving the origin and process of land use in cases where a certificate has not been issued.

Citizen ID card of land user and co-owners (if any).

Representatives of local authorities affirmed that all information provided by people is confidential according to regulations and is only used for state management purposes.

To support localities, the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment has established 5 working groups, organized training for 126 communes and wards; and provided "Digital Land Plot" software, cadastral maps and nearly 6,000 accounts to serve data updates.

In areas with large volumes of work such as Hoang Liet ward, the government has established many professional working groups and 20 support groups in residential groups. Hundreds of officials, civil servants, police, youth union members and grassroots forces are mobilized to review each dossier, verify cases where information is missing or the location of land plots has not been determined.

According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the current stage is decisive for the completion progress of the city's land database. Task forces are required to closely monitor the area, update progress daily and promptly remove arising difficulties.

The standardization of nearly 4.2 million land plots is expected to shorten the time to resolve administrative procedures for people and businesses, and at the same time create a connection platform with the National Land Database, serving planning, resource management and promoting comprehensive digital transformation of the Capital.
