National Assembly Chairman proposes applying AI in propaganda and law-making
Khanh Hoa - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested delegates and press agencies to promote the application of AI in propaganda and law-making.
On the morning of September 14th, in Khanh Hoa, the People's Deputies Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province to organize the 2026 National Collaborator Conference.
Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and delivered a directing speech at the conference.

With the theme "Promoting the power of policy communication - Accompanying elected bodies in the new era of national development", the conference had nearly 500 delegates attending.
Speaking at the conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that in 2 years 2024-2025, the country has implemented many major changes in the organizational structure and administrative units.
This process sets out the requirement to amend the Constitution, laws and resolutions of the National Assembly to ensure smooth leadership, direction, and administration from the Central to local levels.

According to the National Assembly Chairwoman, in 2 years, the National Assembly has developed 127 laws and many important resolutions. In 2025 alone, there are 94 laws and 122 resolutions.
He emphasized that the current speed of law-making is very fast, so "institutions are no longer a bottleneck", but the bottleneck lies in the organization of law and resolution implementation and deployment, concretized by decrees and circulars.
Referring to the requirement for innovation, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the innovation of thinking in law-making, innovation in supervisory activities, timely institutionalization of the Party's policies; practical and effective coordination with the Government, digital transformation, and application of artificial intelligence through a large number of laws and resolutions.

With the People's Deputies Newspaper, it is necessary to strongly innovate, specialize, modernize, and provide readers, voters and people with complete, timely, truthful, and objective information about the activities of the National Assembly, People's Councils as well as the process of building and implementing policies and laws.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the requirement to apply science and technology, digital transformation and AI. Over the past time, the National Assembly has promoted the application of digital technology in law-making activities and is considered to be at the forefront in digital transformation.
According to him, currently each delegate has an iPad "Congress 2.0" integrated with AI and operates separately. AI is applied to support the processing of large volumes of documents, including comparing old and new laws, thereby saving significant time.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that it is not advisable to chase after the number of news and articles, but it is necessary to pay attention to the quality, effectiveness and level of access of readers.
For localities, he proposed to pay more attention to information and legal propaganda, bringing each law to the people through many forms of communication.
